No not yet, As you can imagine it took a long time to scan this stuff. I have been scanning as jpeg files loading to OSO 3 at a time. I tried scanning as a pfd so I could upload as one file but it is 100 times too big . The shame is if I had loaded it as a jpeg I could have shared it already. I haven't come to grips will converting every page. I could upload to my web site and than to OSO using the url option but that may open another can of worms. I hope some one has a better way.

To post images it's also for me a hard and long job of search of the photos, scanning,re-dimensionament, writing and immission in the thread. Often employment times for all this. MOBILMERCMAN unfortunately I'm not a expert of the computer and I cannot help you but I want to Thank you particularly your work here because I know how much it costs.

The Cervani's were certainly not "built for speed".

You are right...they wern't built for speed. But with the water the way it was in 1985, speed wasn't so much a factor as reliability. Per post #124 they had it enough to finish 2nd in points that year. Of course, it really didn't matter because no one was catching Sal.

When you look at the speeds and distance they ran it is still impressive even today. Notice how far out the ran in Key West. These days races are run in the shadow of the Is. The first leg was longer than a lap now.

Note for example the pro stock average over 150 sm.

The previous year they ran around Sand Key which marks the edge of the reef and is outside this picture. Plus they ran much further east.

Compare the records above to http://www.superboat.com/docs/07%20Record%20book.pdf

Look at pages 11 and 12. Those old records were set at greater distances. The recent ones don't even note the distance.

Thank you so much for posting that. I have been looking for a copy of that program for the longest time. That's me on page 39. I was 18 and I had a lot more hair than I have now. We won the World's that year. Great memories. Those really were the good old days of offshore.

I remember noting your age than. Also remember your boat had the trim rams removed and were locked in the position as set. If my memory serves me well.
