Cool video. Thanks
It is about 25 minutes long, but the start is at the 7 minute mark and that was a run down to Dana Point from Newport Beach. Around the 20 minute mark is the oil island turn point before heading to Catalina.

Enjoy.

Thanks cool video.

Old thread, but for those who still have offshore racing on their bucket list, there will be the Don Aronow Memorial Around Long Island race on August 22 nd. Come for the party on Friday the 21 st and meet some of the old racers.

This year we also have a Rally. A team of four boats can divide the distance and each boat can run 1/4 of the distance. Not a race, but you still get to compete over the same waters that have produced such great races of the past. Come and join us.

hi guys i own a 1969 all wood off shore class 2 boat in the uk we used to have a 200 mile race it was the cows torquay cows but health and safety and bloody yachts slowly made it imposible to run as an international race it now runs more as a classic event its about the only long race left in the uk i think its such a shame that all the red tape gets in the cway of this sort of thing reg mark
