Default Smokin Gun

I was sitting here, in rainy Illinois, wondering about the old 28 Manta Smokin Gun. Where its current location is? Did it race by any other names? I remember reading that Jeff passed awhile back. That guy knew how to have fun. I always admired that kind of style. I had the opportunity to buy that boat back in 2000, but, I passed. I wish I didn't. I'm just curious where it has ended up. I am 8 months away from being ready to purchase another boat and will need to find a slick 28 to put my LS2s in. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Big Andy

I saw a red 28' Manta called Smoking Gun as a spectator boat at the German C1 GP in Travemünde in 2001, I think. It had the best sound of all the boats out there!! I took a pic but it will take time to find it as I only made color slides at the time.

Awesome boat!!! You could literally feel the power from meters away. It looked like a bomb that was going to explode and was spotless then. Gotta love the archaic look of the Mantas.
