From this photo we can notice further characteristics of that 36' as the setup of the engines side by side and consequently of the fuel tanks posts to bow of the dashboard and...the absence of the exhausts.

An interesting photo; indeed no through the hull exhaust! Sometimes on long trips that could be a nice feature...could.

i wonder if that version of a Cigarette/Cary was more popular among the clients of the business, not racers but boating enthusiasts

And here she is again Phil, as Sandy Black's pink [KILLER]. Sad to say this cool Bertram was lost in the fire at Emerald City Harbor I believe in 1975.

Here are some more photos of the middle boat - after it being brought to a Sport Class boat - I bought the Hull from Bertram for 1,500 bucks - it had a 1/8 inch plywood deck - which you could not walk on - so a teak deck as put on it . It still won a few races with the new look -

From the boat - it went to filming - nothing like having a huge fan above you to keep you cool on a hot summers day !

I was there at the Hennessy Grand Prix for the center shot of Billy Martin in his Magnum getting airborne coming out of the Manasquan inlet before the race. That really got the crowd going.
