I throttled the 38' at Pt. Pleasant. It was originally rigged with Janisch/Sirois surface drive systems and didn't run to well. Then rerigged with Keikhaufer Aeromarine 482's and #3's. Was renamed Jazzberry Patch with the number 714 on it. Tommy Adams took a 27' Magnum widened the strakes to give it more lift and volay the 27' Signature. First ones had hugh hatchs on the deck. Strong boats.

Tommy Adams was something else. A LEGEND IN HIS OWN MIND.

I have a 27.6 Signature, Funny story, We stored the molds for the 28' & 38 footers and while we had them we built a 28 back in 1998. What a great boat, handling, speed. Just took it out of storage this July, 2023 after sitting for many years inside. Only 240 Hours and perfect. Power with twin merc. 454's & bravo one outdrives. Tops out at 72 mph. and loves 2 to 3' rollers. Will share photos

Default Here's my 38 Signature

I haven't posted in years but looking to get this one running again soon. One of the last 38's ever made after the molds ended up in New England area. 1990.
