For the price he paid , stripping the boat was the last thing he should of done, the hull is almost worthless without the cool historic parts. He could of flipped that boat running for a lot more money than he will lose selling those parts. I should of bought that boat and ran it.

Damn. What a complete shame. Seriously, if I had seen the original add, it would have been in my driveway. 16k for a piece of history..... That boat would have been a blast, and with those Innovation motors and Arnesons, damn reliable. Too bad. You would think a member here would want to keep the history alive.

It's a boat... and like all boats they deteriorate. The smart thing to do was to go to break-up value. All components, including the hull are sold. Thanks for the comments. Looking at the $ any of you would have done what I did... and you know it. The luster of the whole history thing wore off for me about 10 years ago... it's just business. I find my 23 knt sport-fish a lot more enjoyable.
