Does anyone have picture of this cat..maybe with anresons?

Here are the three Apache cats that I remember. The only one with Arneson drives was the boat that Ben borrowed from Sal Magluta for the World Championship in Key West.

The team Apache malstrom red and white boat originally had arensons

I don't have a picture of the Apache with Arneson drives, but I'll keep looking.

Here is one more Apache cat that raced. The T man was our local hero the Apostle of Speed, Red Crain

I own a 32 Skater and that Apache looks like a cool old boat unlike many others from that era . Why was it not successful ? where are those hulls today ?

I saw "Wild Cat" stand straight up on its tail in Key West during a practice run right off of my room at The Galleon. Must have been '87 or '88.

That was Dave Streets boat - he was an electrician from Meredith, NH. I remember him from when I was growing up, had a place on the lake not too far from ours.

Loved that boat...

Actually it won all its races with Bob Idoni on the sticks.

Your are correct, Red was replaced.
