well thats the motor and drive in my boat now with a high x dim.prop shaft 2 1/2 below boat runs mid to high 90s no prob. im lookin at this scorpion to put all my stuff in. I will set the prop shaft 2 1/2 below bottom. thats what im thinkin. the drive is an xr and ive have no issues knock on wood. also 3 lbs of boost thats it. The guy who has the boat had a 509 and ran very well 82mph. he had to really drive it until he put dual ram steering that straightened it right out plus he had a trs deep.

A couple of years ago there were several Scorpion molds down in Miami 147th street & 27 th Ave. Just around the corner from Concept. I was called in to look at rigging a brand new Scorpion 36 that had just come out of the mold. In the time it took me to prepare an estimate, the doors were closed. I checked in several more times over the next few weeks but no activity. Sea Hawk were building 28 foot CC's a couple of doors down and they shut down soon after. Another boat builder was next door to sea hawk building a funky looking wide beam CC. They sunk a fortune into developing this boat and making mold after mold. They were done in about six months.
