Why does the one poster think she had a dry sump system... in that era.. the oil reserve tanks were popular but dry sump in Modified class was illegal. Also, could this be Crystal Gershner's old boat? (Magic Gems?) The one Bob Lathem had for ever.

Last I had seen "Magic Gems" was in the South
Florida area. Also M.G. was a full stagger set-up,
were as E.E. was a side by side.

The only other 80's side by side boat that I remember was "Bad Company" M-16. That boat had been painted white and was sold by Pete Packovitch around 3 yrs ago... It had side by side scoops on the hatch also... one of my fav. boats. The boat sold by the way, turn key for around 24k.

Based upon this most recent photo from a member sighting
(sixmassive) it looks like the occupance are sitting way to forward for a boat that had the long dash in Her. Looks to me that they cut out most of that area to incorporate two front bolsters, check out the pic....................

Also, there were more side by side race 30's out there and the only staggered 30's I'm aware of were Inferno (818181) and Magic Gems . Here's the list the members had generated.
30 Sutphen Offshore Pace
1. Inferno/ Outrageous /Spystuff
2. Great Adventure
3. All Risk
4. Nick the Greek / Magical / Magic J / 911 / Toasty (all same boat)
5. Flap jack
6. Caliente
7. Execution Express / Gypsey
8. Magic Gems (all white)
9. Surface Grinder ( orange)
10. BUSH
11. Dollar Bill
12. Endless Flight
13. Big Shot / Rolling Thunder
14. Intimidater/ Picadilly Filly
15. Fish Peddler

The only boat I'm not sure on is the original "Great Adventure"
An awesome boat IMHO .....
Ciao,
C.B.
