I have had two Mirages, the first one with the small block 280 trs package, and the one I have now has the 330hp bigblocks. Both of them will run about the same speed, around 65mph, but the bigblock setup with more torque dose throttle up faster.. My old Mirage is now being restored with bigblocks now & Bravo drives , will see if it makes a big change when done.
I could see the two stock combos running about the same, stock, but like I said, the upside or potential of the 454's is huge. Alum. heads (shaving weight and adding Hp) and boosting the Hp up to 400ish would make the BBC/TRS combo blow the SBC 280 TRS package out of the water.

Same Joe Debellis. Good old friend from the OLD DAYS. I rented my wharehouse from him for years. He still has his shop behind Lester's in Ft. Laud. on St Road 84. His wife passed a few years ago from brain cancer. Hit him pretty hard. Not as active as he used to be, but you got to admire him, he keeps going.

What Bobby are you talking about? If you're talking about me, Bobby Sheer, I don't know who you are and where you're coming from. Todd and I go back more years then I care to remember. We speak weekly, and will hook up next week in Tall. As long as I've known Todd, and as long as I've been around offshore (1970) I've never heard one negative against Todd. If you have personal issues with Todd, that's one thing. Which I find hard to believe, knowing Todd as long and as well as I have. If you do have personal issues, this IS NOT the forum to do a hatchet job.

What Bobby are you talking about? If you're talking about me, Bobby Sheer, I don't know who you are and where you're coming from. Todd and I go back more years then I care to remember. We speak weekly, and will hook up next week in Tall. As long as I've known Todd, and as long as I've been around offshore (1970) I've never heard one negative against Todd. If you have personal issues with Todd, that's one thing. Which I find hard to believe, knowing Todd as long and as well as I have. If you do have personal issues, this IS NOT the forum to do a hatchet job.

Whatever dude wrong guy i guess...I have experiences with Todd, all it takes is one to look at the book to see the real issues. I am done here but i will say Todd Cimino could have done a lot better and choose to screw lots of people. Hope he is cleaning himself up...
ANd i dont scare that easy...so threats wont do it.

You're jerking my chain, right. You wrote two paragraphs and I don't have a clue what you're talking about. What does wrong guy I guess, mean? Either I'm the Bobby you're talking about or I'm not. What about the book? I've read the book. I lived in that era, Hell I'm in the book. So what. He did a great job of bringing out some of the essence of that period of time, without throwing anyone under the bus. What's your point?
Threats, what threats? Nobody threatened you. Are you saying that I threatened you? If that's what you're saying, let me make a suggestion. Either sober up, straighten up or wise up. Then, reread what I posted. I don't make threats. You'll know exactly where I'm coming from. Been around a long time and I'm real easy to find.
