Awesome! Love the Tow rig

Nah, it was a christening bottle but the net had some holes, and the last thing I want to do is put glass shards in a boat launch. :\
Thanks! I <3 my tow rig as well. 300hp, quattro, factory recaros... total sleeper, and one of only 300 imported to USA. :) |
You sir have done a fine job on this rig! Magnificent restoration and improvement to a classic!

Congrats on finally getting her wet. It's always a huge relief when all goes well on the maiden voyage. The boat really is beautiful, and to see it saved , and returned to it's glory is just too cool. Hope you get to enjoy it a ton over the summer.

Shift cutout. The shift cables are adjusted so when I shift, forward is forward in the lower unit, and reverse = reverse, and nuetral = nuetral.
However, the shift cutout lever NEVER MOVES, and NEVER ACTIVATES the switch. Why? I am pretty mechanically inclined but i do not understand why or how this is supposed to work. The boat shifts into gear fine, but the cutout lever and switch are doing nothing whatsoever. The boat looks great! |
So my trim cylinders leaked a little bit, and I ran out of oil, but didn't know it. Now my trim pump sounds awful. I put new oil in it, but it still won't raise anything. Is it junk?

Ideas?
