Its for sale in the classifieds here on OSO. Go to Boats, and then to "other" for current pics and price. Hope this helps.

|

Find a not direct source of light (near a window with tent for example), avoiding light reflection on the image and eliminating the function of the flash, put the macro function and a bit of zoom to avoid the effect of curving of a 35mm lens too close to the subject (you can take the picture from 30-40 cm - 1"-1".5). The result will be very close to that of a medium quality scanner. |
Seeing that anyone post pics I try as usual.
Some pics of the Satullo's Bertram in 1976(with the #1). That 38' was the first offshore boat ever built in Kevlar 49 of DuPont. Note Mel Riggs in the cockpit of the first pic after the winning race Stroh's Grand National at Cedar Point,Ohio in 1976. Satullo repeating the victory in the same race with the same boat a year later. http://img833.imageshack.us/img833/2/s77u.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/7...ulloriggs1.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/3807/92aeg.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/7233/87a.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us |

On the right the wooden prototype version of the 40' Gara that almost sank during a test before the Kirby Classic on Lake Erie in 1973. |

On the left probably the 22' Chris Craft which was the first boat for Sandy Satullo which fought against the 28' Magnum of the friend-rival Dominic Visconsi in duels on Lake Erie before both buy a 36' Cigarette each in 1972.

That was the 2nd boat deck from the mold on 38th st. The first one was Billie McDonalds "Impossible Dream" also started with wood and then 1st glass deck built by Nick Chapman and son and of course Cortez helped with that.
"Dream" sold to NJ developer Ed Simms and found new home in Brigentine "Rum Point Pub" under the bridge and was named "Rum Runner" Sandys 1st boat was all wood. What I did not understand is if in this photo was a new boat or just the same hull that nearly sank in 1973 but with a deck changed and the sides cutted. http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/568...kettlegara.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/2691/resiz.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us |
