Glad you were able to track it down! Used to run in front of my parents house when I was probably 15-16 years old, and I would sprint outside to watch it go by. Then it wound up at the local broker and I wanted it sooo bad. This is going back almost 20yrs.

Kenny,

Both were great guys.

Back in the day when we were kids, Phil, Mike Hirsch, Steve Weintraub, Jeff Sofer and I used to hang out. We were all just out of High School...except for Jeff who was 14 or 15 at the time.

Glad to see you are keeping the "Flight" passion alive.

Ive seen Phil several times over the last few years, i keep him up to date with pictures of my progress (my slow progress that is)

This "Top Cat boat" was the first boat I raced. We picked it up in 1988 and began racing it in 1989. It was repainted and sponsored by Hy-Tech Marine out of Little Washington, NC. I'll try and dig up photos of the boat after it was repainted. We also widened the cockpit, put in Skater seats and re-rigged the boat completely. We kept the Arneson drives but replaced the engines from small blocks to big blocks.
