Lucky is right-the ad says "Larry Smith Scarab"-which is wrong, it is a Wellcraft Scarab. This boat was an insurance rescue by Lindsey Prarie-who had a fiberglass shop in Barnegat Light. This Scarab caught on fire, and was "rebuilt" with a custom race deck/cockpit.

That was Lindsay Prarie. who did glass work and boat painting down on Long Beach Ilsand old boat/
he races a Scarab called Indigo at one time.
He painted my Magnum Sport when I repainted it.
Lindsay also painted blue the 29 Mirage that the late Jeff Galenti and I raced as (Outlaw M-44) it was the old "Gazpacho" boat that Joe Barro raced for a few years
Thank you
Jim

Cool boat...always liked the deck and triple bolsters. Last I remember it had 650 or 700hp Kurts Marine smallblocks w/TRS on those homemade extension boxes. Supposedly ran 103 mph. Seems like a good deal if its real and its your thing.

I emailed.
Not the kind of reply i'd want to buy from.
Barely answered any of my questions and would send any pics.
And yes, the message when you call is rediculous.
