It's not,, I had hull #1 in 1976. This was a California built boat made to compete with the Larry Smith Scarabs. California boat racer Barry McCown had the molds made, the early ones like mine were built by the Cheetha boat company with the Lancer logo. They were later made at Lancer Marines own shop. In 1974 Barry raced a 24' Spectra [Banzai] with twin big blocks in tandem. By 1976 Barrry race one of his companies boats the S-34 KAMAKAZE. Then in 1977 the molds were sold, and many shops on the west coast built them under many names.

that lancer was sitting in the shed at belle mar i think skipper buds took it when they pulled there action out of the showroom
