Yes, very nice boat! I remember back in the day when I owned a 250 my self never had any problems with it , turn key all the way. Used this boat to make the transition from small lakes to Lake Michigan and never look back crossing the lake from Chi. to Holland MI and back, tie it up jump in it and use week after week summer after summer had twin 188s. And that funny little engine sync. scope!!!!

I'm pleased to see there's a following for these boats. Here's my battle wagon.....
Used for fishing the river. Trailered to coastal haunts for diving. Rides the chop with comfort.

I need to replace my steering cable ('72 Nova 250 twin Mercruiser 888, power steering pump on the starboard). Anyone know what cable (length, etc.) to order?

I'd really like to find a new old-stock steering cable. Any original parts out there? I understand the new cables don't have a nut on the back, like the original.

im thinking his boat has small block 350ci chevy engines, the 302 fords had really small cylinder heads and a 1/2 inch less stroke than a 350 chevy.... but you could always swap on a better set of heads and put in a stroker crank to make 350ci...rm
