That things been on there for a little while, looks like a nice gentlemans cruiser; can anyone attest to the structural integrity/build quality?

That is the old Formula 32 by Thunderbird. It was built, along with a pop of the Formula 233 by ex-sales manager, Stu Jackson in St. from about '77 to 81. Good boat, good guy.

It was also called Maxim for some dealers. Someone mentioned Cary for this boat. When I was at Cary, I borrowed the deck mold from them (Thunderbird) to build a couple of boats while we were building a fish-type deck mold for the famous Cary/Cigarette

i have to agree with you h20 that its a 31 maxim there was one down the street from me a couple of years ago, my fathers friend owned a 24 maxim in the early 70s with straight sixes 165hp looked exactly like a formula, it was called sneaky pete and it raced out of point pleasant n.j.
Sneaky Pete was my Uncle's boat and he raced it with my dad

Same here, say hello to your mom, jeff and kim. also stay safe, that is one fast boat your in. scott your living my dream of racing. i got to race once in the worlds in st. pete, made it 2 laps and we blew a drive.maybe i'll see you if you race up here. take care.
