If you want to see Armed & Dangerous potential & speed get the Freeze Frame video from Key West 1994 world championships race #3. I was @ that race, that Mirage was impressive.

I went to Sutphen"s to race after the Mirage. I have a 31 Sutphen race boat for sale.

You can see photos of it on our website. Great shape with a great history. www.mercedeshowroom.com

Hello Brian

The late Jeff Galente and I purchased the "Gazapacho" Mirage and repainted it Blue and changed the name to "Outlaw", we raced it a few times. It was stolen from a marina in NJ and never recovered, It was last seen in a barn in CT. this was back in the late 70s.to early 80s
I can't post a photo of it as the Outlaw. I think that Mark (H2oboater) may have a photo of it as Outlaw. It was a great race boat and a fun boat to race.

thank you
jim

Before it was Gazapacho, when it was new it was Great Adventure. The boat was shipped out to California for the 1st race of the year in
A.P.B.A. It was so rough the boat stuffed and ripped the deck off of it. It was then sold to Joe Barrow and raced as Gazapacho. I throttled it in the club races for Joe as seen in the picture in Plymouth Mass. Great Adventure for the rest of that season was the blue Sutphen.

Steve,

Thank you. Correct
We purchased it from Joe, and then changed it to Outlaw M44
That was a long time ago.
Jim
