anybody interested in buying the boat? '84 30ft shadow cat, really nice paint/gelcoat. it has #3 drives installed (new rebuilt) and turbo 400 3 speed transmissions (new from B&M) all motor mounts, trans mounts , drive shafts and couplings are included. just needs power and interior and gauges and some minor rigging..... also comes with alot of chrome pieces: sea strainers, fittings, controls, etc.....nice trailer too. this would make a BADASS boat. call me if your interested. 606 575 0208 max

.................................................. ........................................I will probably get reamed for this statement but you are not racing the boat so i don`t see any problem with putting a bracket or swimplatform on it and using the boat , So its might not be a perfect set up, who cares? , i mean you might have to play with the setup some so it rides decent , you have some work to do with the transom braces and bracket placement, But in the end you have a boat you like the looks of and the power you want , you are not pushing it to the limit + beyond in a heavy seas race, its that simple , but keep in mind , never use a swimplatform with the motors running , allways shut them down . and to sell your boat you would have to put up with everyone who wants it for dirt cheap , keep it , toss some motors on there and hit the beach .

you will devalue the hull if you cut it up to make it an outboard boat....and granted these hulls are not incredibly valuable, but some day someone will look at what you've done and say "WTF?"

throw some motors in it like "el boss" and you'll be styling...
Sean, I think you have me mixed up with 2ton, Mine was built as an outboard boat from day 1. I only commented on rich's because, as I quoted, Rich said OB's are for fishing boats, and I couldn't see him "fishing" out of his Skater.

'84 30ft shadow cat, really nice finish on the hull, i cannot find a single blemish. it has #3 drives installed (new rebuilt) and turbo 400 3 speed transmissions (new from B&M) , Kplanes and tunnel tab, all motor mounts, trans mounts , pumps/lines for trim tunnel tabs, oil coolers, drive shafts and couplings are included. just needs power, interior and some rigging..... also comes with alot of chrome pieces: sea strainers, fittings, controls, etc.....nice Myco trailer with new tires and bearings. this would make a BADASS boat. it would be very difficult to find a a boat like this in better condition. call me if your interested. 606 575 0208 max

man i know.....i just dont want to go any further down a roea that will not make me happy at the end. i mean dont get me wrong...if the boat doesnt sell i will do something with it.

i may sell the drives and transmissions out of it and make it an outboard after all.......or trade the speedmasters for bravos and make a pleasure boat out of it. or i may sell the hull, trailer, drives, and transmissions seperately. we'll see.

i really want a cat with twin outboards. i already bought a single engine cat to play with......its a 25 Warlock sxt. so thats what ima be running the rest of this season......the Shadow is a winter project....but if i can get a decent price for it then i will let it go and get something else w/o having to alter/destroy this one.
