was in new york state sat and went by a body shop on a main route and saw a 32 or36 boat on a trailer it was red and black striped all over and said star chaser or star gazer on the side in black had a 80s look to it any have any info on it ,

The Starchaser I remember was a 41 Apache .

no thats not it ,i was in kingston new york ,and the boat was about a half hour from there , it was sitting at a body shop / repair shop the building was orange or yellow brick the boat was on the side,

The boat in the post 2 link is a Rabco, the raceboat was a 41 Apache. Now which boat was it??

neither one is it ,it had stripes all over it ,i wish i stoped to get a better look, wild looking boat ,

I think the actual Star Chaser Apache raceboat is all white now.

The 41 apache "StarChaser"was owned by 2 guys out of NY, Butchie and another fella. They ran D class in the old NPBA circuit, and we used to build the motors for it out of Richie Zuls shop. It was bright yellow, raceboat lay-up, no cabin, 3 man bolster....very light and very fast!
