Default 35 Cigarette race boat

Anyone seen the 35 that belonged to the Dunsmores? It sold a while ago, was on boat trader for a long time. Had original Gentry turbo motors, red hull with Hawaiian flowers on it and competed in the Catalina ski race all the time. Did someone on Oso pick it up? Heard it was heading to Florida to be a poker runner? Just curious and kicking myself for not buying it.

It was purchased by a son for his father..... as that was his father's race boat when new. Nice gesture. It is in Florida now.

That is a good place for it to go, although it would be better off in freshwater at my place. Dreaming!

I was going to buy it for my dad because he raced it originally before selling it to Mr. Weichselbaum (sp ?) who raced it as Mighty Mouse. Anyone know who finally bought it?

Mike I heard that you bought it a couple of years ago, that is why I posted the above. Got my info from DS at the great engine shop on the Fla west coast.

Not to hijack the thread but -- Charlie, do you know of anyone who might be interested in the original 32 Cary Beep Beep?

I was thinking about it and got close but then it sold, and boom, it was gone. I'd love to know where it is now.
