30 Sutphen BUSH raceboat!
 

While working up on Lake Winnipesaukee today, I found this beauty at Paugus Bay. What a time capsule, been in storage since the 80's!

It's not for sale, still owned by the original owner. It is on display at Paugus Bay Marina in Laconia (Lake Winnipesaukee) this weekend. They are having a huge open house party.

That is Tim Sheehan's boat. He owns the Budweiser distributorship in Massachusetts, that boat won't be for sale.

He started with a 27 Magnum back in the 70's and just couldn't beat Bill Gazell in the new 30 foot Sutphen, Great Adventure.....so he bought this 30 foot Sutphen and switched to Modified out of Production class....and never looked back.... took many championships.

TB is right.. The boat is not going anywhere.. Right now it is with Kevin Keenan, who used to race with Tim. It is at his Marina (Paugus Bay) for an open house and probably some resotration over the Winter. It is in really nice shape, since it was placed in storage after it finished racing.

The boat looks just like it did back in the day from the pics.
