You got me on that one Jim, I dont remember. I did find out that INFERNO was a prototype 29' Sutphen, back in the day... Mark

Mark,

If i remember correctly, INFERNO ran some wild tunnel ram engines and it was a bear to get up on plane

It was a long time ago.

Inferno also had Patterson headers.
Stan Pike was the 1st owner
It was the 1st 30 Sutphen race boat built.
Staggered set up.
T.R.S. with speedy feet

Stan changed the cams & the boat would not go up on plane.We would tow him at about 20mph until it got up on step in quite a few races.

I know the guy that owns it now and have had the pleasure of running in it and beside it a few times. Boat runs awesome. Has a decent pair of Whipple Charged motors in her now.

I saw the pic in the most unusual of places the other day!!!! Told the guy that I had to have it I remember that boat from back in the day!!! Still looking for the orange All Risk one with the arnesons and small blocks on it as well!!!!

I've got it now, 30', The first one built. Larry built the 33' next, and ya it's Black with Flames! Still runnin' strong!!

I had the old All Risk boat a few years ago. Sold it to a guy up in Scituate Mass. I believe he is putting some very large power in it. Unfortunately I still have not found any video of this one racing back in the day.
