Good to hear! I'm curious why this boat isn't drawing any additional comments. I myself really dont like the aestetics of the hull but are there any underlying negitive traits of the hull or its dynamics that make it undesireable?

I would love to have that boat to restore but I already have to many boats and not enough money.

I'm not a fan of the look either, but rumor has it, she is a big water killer.

See I disagree, I think the 38 Bertram Comps with the bevelled decks is one of the most beautiful V hulls out there.

My money is on the Bertram, truely a beautiful boat, nothing like it to this day, style wise way ahead of it's time - wish I could restore it!

Cool

Ther are now two of them for sale..... One is owned by a doctor in canada .The old Copper Kettle owned and raced by Sandy Satullo in the hay day and Vincentive which is sitting Behind Jim Dyke's place in Vermilion Ohio off Sunnyside rd.
I looked for the old Kettle for a long time before I found it.The guy in Canada wanted too much money for it at the time and I passed on it .The boat is still for sale on OSO but he has come down on the price a lot!!!
The other boat was in too bad of shape and was completly stripped of any gear --- Had a buddie check the transom for me and found some soft spots.
The one in Canada was repainted and the guy stuck some money in it trying to fix it up ..... The boat has no motors ,transmissions or exhaust.

Both boats are beauties but they are going to take a truck load of money to get running
