Theme is a "Stealth" boat. Heat/AC, all weather and can take a pounding...
It will be my work/pleasure boat...

I ended up selling the tower for $700 so my net cost on the Spyder is $6800!
I spent the last weekend rewiring the trailer and pulling most of the old sound system out. The prior owner had good equipment but the install job was very odd. A hodgepodge of good quality wires and poor wiring! Im pulling everything out and rewiring with a combination of my equipment and the amps which were already installed.
After the stereo is installed I get to work on the outside, do a tuneup and change fluids and then I should be ready for the season. Im hoping to splash in about a month!
Here's a pic of the boat without the tower...

+10 on that.... However, tower or not at least you got a great deal on something that you can plop in the water and go boating straight away.
If I would have been smart that's what I would have done. I've been working on mine (off and on) for 2 years now (always something else to fix or improve) No matter what it's going in this spring and I'm going boating.

Whats the best way to accomplish that? Sanding? Easy off oven cleaner? Is there anything that can be applied, let it soak and then lightly scrub away? It might be a project for next year...Depends on how long it takes me to take care of everything else. Right now our weather has been 60 degrees so its perfect for working on the boat.
