Wow, So sad to hear. He was one of the Great Minds in the boat biz. My Condolences to Ann, Steve, LA and the rest of the Family and friends. I saw Pete C was on here this morning but didn't post anything...

Very sad. My condolences to Steve and his family. From all I have read Clive was a true innovator, and will be missed.

Again, very sad to hear of this loss, my condolences. Personally, I think that Cougar changed the face of offshore as we know it today. For me, they triggered the transition from monos to cats within the blink of an eye, aka Yellowdrama III.

Cougar certainly pioneered the cat design in Offshore racing...and sadly both of its founders passed away too soon.

Rest in Peace Clive and our prayers and condolences go out to the entire Curtis family....

Another sad news. Clive with James Beard was a milestone of the offshore racing.

Him cats beat the mono in the waters that were still Offshore.
