Awesome video!
Whilst people yell - bring back real racing, we have at least one "real race" like this, it's the Around LI Marathon. Unfortunately there are very few who are willing to accept the challenge this sort of racing provides, and plenty who would stand on the sidelines and whine about a race they will never enter.

wow!!! Watching that on the full screen I actually winced and pulled back a couple of times at those hits!

Now, from the 6:30 to around 9 minutes I was thinking "Those other boats are doing really well hanging with the apache." Then they started to just pull away.

Would be neat to see some footage from that heli.

Looks like the former J H Electric Lip Ship Special that was campaigned a while back by Jack Hedrick and Phil Lipschultz. I had the pleasure of driving it with Phil back to his shop after a Miami race years ago. We got her up to 105 in conditions that were WAY smoother than this... LOL.. At the time she was equipped with Zul power.... Great to see her still out doing what she does best. This boat around that same time was featured in a Playboy magazine ad. Stan Lane
