546ci? That's a odd number. What size whipples? Single carb or dual carb setup? If truly making 900hp each, I'd imagine mid to upper 80's. hardware sounds nice

Ok sorry 540"s, 6psi boost, Runs pump gas, and will be a great family boat. Only after church on Sundays! Single Carb application 800 dominators i think? Tom feel free to add!

Single carb 540 with 6lbs of boost, definitely not 900hp. Maybe 700-750 with a 1050 dominator

will it still be fun?

WOW Long Trip towed the cat home from NY State took 2.5 days. I secured all the permits required (what a hassle!) but worth it. Man is it Heavy! My Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel and the boat on trailer were 26500 lbs across the scales. Any way 540 cubic inch engines Whipple 3300sc'S and 1050 Dominators, Huber 1450's and SSM#3 builder says @ 850hp They run great! I have a little lipstick and rouge and some cooling enhancemants to do, but other than that its all good. here is the Boat serial #URT39046G990 any body have any info on its History? any comments? Thoughts

My guess is the truck alone is around 7000-7500 lbs, so boat and trailer around 19k? I had my F350 super duty with my Formula 402 SR1 on the scale before. With no fuel in boat I was 24500 total. Truck weighed 8000lbs. Boat and trailer 16500lbs.
IMO , boats like that are way to much for a 3/4 ton, and 1 ton. How did the dodge pull it? Boat engines sound like nice builds. Did you run it hard yet? |
