Yeah, asking price is rediculous but I know how Mainers work... Cash talks. BTW, I know absolutely nothing about this boat, just stumbled onto it while surfing Craigs.

Big,

I have always loved that model. It's the 402 hull with a "magnum sedan" style deck. I didn't even know there was a China, ME.

There were a few around Miami in the 80's. Very cool boat.

Somewhat similar to the original set up for the 28 Cigarette.

The boat in California at 20K, running WITH a trailer sounds closer to a realistic value - puts the one in Maine at around 4K. That guy's sending me some pics. I'll post as soon as I get them. AND he has no trailer for the boat.

The boat with a bracket and a pair of 300 HPDI's would be pretty cool. Install a "U" shaped seating unit in place of the engine compartment... etc. The Yamahas should run the boat as fast as those 330's with a lot less weight.

I remember the 402 we used as pace boat for the 1984 Holiday Isle race - a flat deck - weighed like 14k dry. These have to be more like 16.

That boat alone weighs 15,000 lbs. A trailer will be $ 6500 at least for a 40ft 15-18 k trailer and thats nothing fancy.
