I also remember his dock partners red/white/orange 38 Scarab named Turbo.

Senza, was the 38 Scarab named Turbo kept at Keens in Detroit? I remember as a kid in the early 80's there being a Scarab at Keens Marina that was painted orange and yellow and red and it had a prostock scoops on the engine hatch that said "turbo"

And speaking of Detroit & Scarabs Here is a pic of my 38' Scarab that I bought from the Porterfield Willson [Detroit Pontiac car dealer] estate. This Scarab was originally's Sonny Gandee's who had Showdown marine down in Wyandotte Mi. Sonny sold it to Poterfield and it was call WAR HAWK. Because of it's checkered past :picard1: I had it quickly repainted it bright yellow with flames up @ Tiger Fiberglass in Maryville Mi. It was a tank & not very fast but BIG., where it is today ????????
