LIGHTS OUT was built for my Grandfather Eddie Fugate my mom has the original plaque from cigarette with his name on it. In the picture when the boat was white the woman in the gold jacket is mom she was wearing a cigarette racing jacket. The photo when the boat was black was at Metro Beach Lake St. Clair MI the lettering on the side of the boat was 24k gold flake, my mom told me one time that the fish fly's ate pieces of the gold flake and my grandfather had to have it repaired. IF ANYONE KNOWS THE LOCATION OF THIS BOAT I WOULD LOVE TO BE ABLE TO HAVE THE CHANCE TO BUY IT AND BRING IT BACK INTO THE FAMILY!

First time seeing this old thread and it perked my interest as a few of the boats mentioned in this thread were owned by my friends and we boated Lk. St. Clair back in the 70's/80's. Turbo was a 377 Scarab with staggered 400 Cyclones (no turbos - just the name), Slap Shot was a 30 Scarab with twin 280trs's as was my Wango Tango, Xtasea was a 30 Scarab 2 with built 454's and countless others. Good times, cheap gas, no worries!
Carry on.
