Default Engines done

Im gonna give this a Try. I don't face book due to witness protection but hopefully the link to my engines will paste. HnH machine shop is incredible Dan the owner and Johnny have been NASCAR for years and personally built my engines. No expense was spared! but they have been done right. Wiesco custom pistons and K1 rods Kryptonite Cranks, Stefs Offshore oil pans mellings pumps, Brodix big Brodie # 3 Heads with a complete racing Valve train,Titanium, and stainless valves. A good build on GM Bow Tie blocks. Anyway they are done! install next ...And i am adding Canton Racing Marine Acusumps as pre-oilers
Lubrication will never be a problem again! Stay tuned

here is the link

I had two 572's that were built by Rob Schooping. Supposedly Callies cranks and rods, Lunati billet roller cams, Morel lifters, all top end stuff. The starboard motor blew up on the first 20 minute boat ride. Piston to wall clearance was ridiculously tight, that's what took out #2 piston, engines had eBay chinese cranks and rods, speed pro lifters that were coming apart, and some off the wall Doug Hebert camshaft. It was a mess of enormous proportions. Rebuilt the motors with what was supposed to have been in them, 50 hours later they are running like a top. This Rob Schooping guy is garbage, and I see now he is trying to sell motors on Facebook. Stay away is all I can recommend. Good luck with your new motors Ahlenius.

Hey I really really appreciate you posting that for me! I got rid of all the crap Schooping did and made it right! i will post pics when they are in the old Cat. She wont be a speed demon, but will be a hell of a party boat! The interior is done and mega stereo installed!
Cleaning the bilge has been a huge project with so many years of grease and oil. I have been at this fricking boat going on 4 years, labor of love? or Hobby. Not sure but its growing on me and almost done...Then What!

Cool thread. I admire you and others that restore and preserve old go fast boats. Wish I had the talent and space to do the same.
