Default 87 Seebold

I just purchased this boat and am in search of some/ any info about it. I'm told its a 25'6. It has a 454 mag with a bravo1. The intake cover states 454/ alpha. I heard a few of these were equipped with an outboard? The hull is in perfect shape, almost like it was redone.. Just looking for estimated top speed, weight, handling, number made, etc.

The bravo came out in 1988. If you boat has a bravo now it was installed well after the boat was built. Originally a 454 would have come with an alpha. You've got 310 hp at the prop. Im guessing speed somewhere in the low to mid 50's...

A friend of mine owned one here in Seattle 2 years ago..

I am a fellow seebold owner, I have a 88 236. Sounds like yours is a 265, Post some pics. There are a few guys here that sold/worked on these back when they were new. Its a 454 mag? Sounds like its been updated at some point. Good luck with it

I have a 265 with a 454/Bravo. I only get around 50 but my motor is tired and who knows whats going on with my prop. I do love the boat though. Its a rare boat and they run good with some power.

Sorry, I cant seem to figure out how to get a photo uploaded correctly. Maybe these links will work.. http://s1345.photobucket.com/user/zs...tml?sort=3&o=2 http://s1345.photobucket.com/user/zs...tml?sort=3&o=0 The person I bought it from said he did 70 on gps with 3/4 tank of gas. The insurance company is trying to write it as a "racing boat" claiming it could exceed 75! I wish... I did look up the MercruiserTransom Assembly s/n sticker on the engine and it shows as a bravo while the drive unit s/n sticker shows as an alpha. Guessing it was updated shortly after it was bought. Engine sticker (0B726696) shows to be an 1987 at 330 hp.
