Merrick Lewis Bus
Merrick Lewis owned a full-size bus that was professionally converted to an executive motorhome in 1964. He took it back and forth from Ohio to Europe as he travelled to various offshore races. I received one photo of this bus that was taken at the Alliance Machine facility in England (1960's). Go to:

I am a college professor doing historical research on this exact bus model. It was built by the Flxible Bus Company in Loudonville, Ohio (converted new by Custom Coach Corporation in Columbus, Ohio in 1964). This was never a passenger bus. Only nine of these Custom Coaches were built. I am putting together a photo archive at the following URL:

For those that do not know, Merrick Lewis was president of Alliance Machine Company in Alliance, Ohio. I spoke with the folks at Alliance Machine (now Morgan Engineering) and that's where I received the photo above.
I would also like to contact Mr. Lewis' children (Patty Jo Richardson and Owen Lewis) if they happen to be reading this or if anyone knows how to forward this message to them. I can be reached at the e-mail address below:
Thank you.
