No mystery, just not a name thrower.
We were in contact a few times today.....prepping an F650 and companion Nortech for their return trip to Berlin. He's driving it to the port in Jville tomorrow, so I think Friday is the first chance I have to get the images.....
As for the op......
I asked where you are located because if close, I would take you over and make the introduction. He is a walking thesaurus of racing lore, and just happened to write many of the pages.
Think BROWNIE..... (D.... H....).....speaks very highly of you.

From: Palm Beach County, Fl. ( formally N. California)

I met Jerry Gilbreath, when he brought the Aronow Unlimited to our Arneson shop to install Keith Black engines. ( I then hauled the Aronow for the remaining Unlimited Hydroplane series... Years later, I moved to Southern California where Jerry saw me, and hired me.. My 1st project with him was that Popeyes Cougar, to assist in the rigging. ( Andy Casale 'V' Drives, designed the 'lower unit' / blower-belt attachment, to connect to the prop shafts.
