Because of the rain never took my camera out but for this one and the other was back in the day cool pic I found of my mirage...
She ran so good now "I Feel the need for speed" more that is.........but it is running and paid for so I'm happy for that.I know it isn't the best looking boat but when you only have an hour here and there to work on it I think she still looks good for being all original and almost 40 years old

justbassing 07-20-2014 07:03 PM

Oh and all the boats that made it there were awesome great job to you all I loved them all would love to sit down over a beer and listen to your story's of each boat .

That is a great picture of your boat from back in the flying by the Historic Boblo boat.

Had a great time despite the rain. It was great hearing about the race history of my boat. Rain stopped and sun came out as soon as I pulled the boat out.

The rain clouds did part Saturday around 5:30 & the sun did shine. This 35' Cig made the reunion & looks & runs great after a 8 month extensive clean up. This Cig past owners left her in the water with out any love for many summers but Ralph's & Kevin Mathes hard work brought her back from the dead.:ernaehrung004:

----Justbassing,,,,Glad you like the old El Pescador. The reunion was the first time Ive had it back in the water in a couple of years. I forgot just how much I like the boat and how it handles. I have a bunch of pics but Im having a hard time pulling them up with the new puter. Maybe when Mark gets here tonight he can figure out how to transfer them.......Bill S

----Thanks to both Scott and Mark. Scott,,,Those pics were taken before the teak floor and extra trim work. Still looks OK, but that blue Pirelli blue floor that I had at first would fry your soles if you didn't watch out! That last pic with Jan and I also has Jack sitting on the port side, and he happens to be here today for his annual visit from San Diego, California. Headed up to St. Clair for the races in a bit........Bill S

Yeah, I couldn't find the pics from Key Largo LOL. "Look Bill, huge boat wake. Should I warn the girls?"

Tell Jack I said bad things about him ;) :stooges: :)

In case he's wondering, the Vette is doing just fine.

I don't remember the whole story but Scott Smith told me it was one of a few built with the side by side seat. it originally went to Europe then made it's way back here. Unfortunately most if not all the old records at Cigarette never made the trip to the new plant. I used to be able to Call Scott or Craig and get info on everything ever made in a few days.
