Is this the same boat? http://www.nationalpowerboat.com/38_...t_scarab-2.htm
Can anyone tell me what this gauge cluster is under the center part of the windshield?

tach's and indicators they add a little pod so that you didn't have to look down so much it was in front of you. That's a picture of Bettys boat notice the steering is on the right side so she could see out

Dan, looks like Betty controlled the forward/reverse operations as well as the steering maneuvers around the docks. I don't see any rocker switches for the tab and drive trim angles. How where the controlled? Are those push buttons on her right involved, looks like it says flaps above one set. J sry not wishing to hi-jack the OP.

Yes fwd and rev were controlled by the driver around the dock but remember they were crash boxes. the trims were controlled by the two rocker switches under the grab handle and the buttons were overrides .

Jettdog, no plans on the model. As I see and find more pictures and see details, I make up the parts as I go along, basically winging it and come as close as I can. Your not hijacking for sure as I'd like to learn as much as I can so ask away.
My model as I found out happens to be an S type Scarab which is 30 feet and resembles this one: http://www.gm-powerboats.com/shop/da...061216_009.JPG
Is this Betty's boat before it was KAAMA?
So the set of 8 buttons are for the trim tabs with a duplicate set on the port side? And the switches under the grab are the override? Are the levers to the right for reverse?
