Aero Marine "magnum" on ebay? These are not real magnums right, clone molds made in MI I always thought? Nice boat with twin small blocks though anyone have any info on this boat? Thanks.

Thanks Lee,that is a great thread! I thought I had read some of h2O posts about clem-gems, that was the first thing I thought of when I saw that boat. Too bad I'm looking for an old school 28 with small blocks not looking for junk though, thanks again

Was the Aero that made Browning Boats? I know they were based in Michigan. We had a Browning Mustang II with a 165 hp Mercruiser -- WONDERFUL boat-- and on the rear it did state Aero

just wondering

its up here on the classifieds to. IMO the motors look to be 1986 - hull is advertised as a 1985. The outdrives 4 sure are pre alpha in which IMO are Mercruiser R drives, they are not alphas but are pre alpha outdrives. Outdrive serial #'s will tell exactly as they are either R or if not MR outdrives. Its one of these. 1985 had alpha one hooked to small blocks and of course 454's to. .

It's a Klem Gem made in Michigan by Jim Klem. Left sitting in a field open for many years, if you hit the stringers with a hammer it goes THUD. Originally rigged by Klem with twin Stern Power drives & two very used big block Chevy's.

What are the cutouts on the rear deck for? They almost look like they were cut for clearance of exhaust from a single big block? Is it possible this was a single at one time? From this pic the stringers don't look original either?
