This Shadow also raced here in Michigan originally as Ambusher.

Id like to go see it but 50k is steeper than I can put towards the boat, dont want to wast anyones time, Id consider it without power for a much lesser priced option

If you find one that works for you or if anyone is interested we have the molds for an updated Chris Cat dash (not the flat one). It has much better lines. Please contact me for pictures if you'd like.

When we sold the Shadow cat back in 1992 it had single Holley carb 500+ twin small blocks & ran 105mph. The last time I talked to Greg in Key West a few years ago he said it was powered now with blower engines. Don't know what it now has for power today but 50K could be due to it's power? This OB Shadow cat [ CAT ATTACK ] been for sale for some time for 19K, like any older race cat it can be a hard sell.

What happened to the one you bought on the cheap a couple/few years back? I sold you the Mach 4 blade choppers. I'm Sparkys friend. Good luck on the hunt.

There was a super cool guy that purchased it, he is friends with the origional crew chief of the ACR Spirit race team (that was the mane of the boat origionally)

Up here in Mich its too hard to find good OB mechanics (althi I do most of my own work) and parts are scarce here, thats why I ended up selling it, the new owner states that I did a great job powering and rigging it, and he enjoys the boat ... i actually miss it, but i think an i/o is more for me as i can canabalise one of my boats to power it if needed..... unless its a inexpensive ob...
