Who owns the "Fox Hunter" 38 SE Cigarette?
 

Who owns the "Fox Hunter" 38 SE Cigarette that I saw over at Mikes on The Water yesterday? Its not everyday that you get to see an old classic. I saw it when I was dropping my buddy off at his well at Jefferson Beach Marina.

i know jerry at gsc sold it to the current owner.give him a call at the morris il store.

It used to belong to my friend Jimmy here in chicago. Very cool classic. 540's, #3's, kevlar boat. Ran with him many times. Was sad to see him sell it!

----Maybe the new owner will show up at the Racers Reunion in July. Would love to see it. He would be in good company!!!.......Bill S

Thank GOD they didn't paint it! Rumor I heard was that the new owner was going to change the graphics...that thing is SOOOOOOO awesome the way it is. Easily one of my favorite boats ever...and the first Cig I ever rode on...

Saw it last week @ North Bay on the Salt River getting looked over, nice classic.

That is how I noticed it. Sorry to say it but the Crayola Cigarettes don't get noticed. But when I see the classic stripes and FOX HUNTER in big bold letters, that will get your attention. I PRAY TO GOD that the guy doesn't change the graphics.

Really hate it when they repaint the Classics. I think the paint they are putting on some of the Apathe's is really ashame. Jimmy's boat was a real beauty.

The new owner as of now is not going to repaint it. His original plan was to repaint it but decided it was to cool the way it was. He just did a little touch up on the deck stripes from what I heard.
