Update dash or leave it old school?

I would go with the new dash , I did everything except the dash panel on my 10 meter . you will prob need the gaffrig senders for the newer gauges , not a big job at all to switch them out.

I wouldn't touch it. Just change out the bezels and lenses that are faded or worn.

Old dash looks old. If the boat is an absolute classic then keep it original. If the boat is just a very nice example of an older Fountain then you're not detracting from the boat with a bit of modernizing. If it's not too expensive, I'd update, but don't get carried away, sometimes one job can lead to another, and so on......
Your pics highlight how little Fountain changed over the years. Fountain philosophy.......? If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Boy you are right! I spend about 13k when it was all said and done on my new dash, just to sell the boat a couple months later. It was the best 32 dash I'd see, but it wasn't cheap.

How well did the white dash panel match the white gelcoat around the dash? I was reading somewhere the the boat was actually a little off white and the panel was pure white. It looks like a pretty good match in the pic.
