Dan had this Mag before he had the Magnum Starfire [ also pictured here ] he was going to race the sport but I believe he never did. Dan sold the sport to a fellow member of his Monroe boat club & that's when this pic was taken on the fork lift. Dan's buyer much later sold it to the guy on the Lake Michigan side of the state.

term1032000 only said it would be stupid for me. I have a top gun with new power being installed and redoing a 72 magnum also. I still kick myself for not buying short circuit when it was forsale.. I remember seeing your boat in Monroe, it's very cool boat & I'm very tempted. Lol

SO I have been shopping for a go-fast boat, I get the historical significance of this boat, but, if there was no historical significance, why choose this over some of the newer and more modern options (and newer here would imply maybe anything newer than 1985)? Would suspect there are arguments for the hull, but why else?
