im going with bobs helmet it was the non bucketing light weight model that he fought to get approved OR the turbo eng's.

Bingo we have a WINNER !!!!!!!!! hallj wins the lower strakes were lengthen all the way to the transom so the boat ran higher out of the water.

Oddly enough I only learned of this last week. Charlie educated me.
But let's not forget the Good engines from Norm Teague and a good washing from Bob Teague. It all adds up.
