was she built very light for racing....kevlar?..........what's the beam?...........staggered big power?...........full race no cabin?.............the year?..................nothing, absolutely nothing would I prefer this over a more expensive
newer boat.

1975 staggered BB mild power
No cabin, glass layup 8,214 lbs.
Beam 8.9"
only two of the twelve made where glass, Don Onkins GoodWrench and mine.

B38, I remember when you posted (user name-Solo) on Speedwake that you were looking for pics or information on 38 Bertram Race boats. That was on 4/14/05. I was using the name Magnum Malcolm and identified it as possibly the Needle Nose boat. I followed your restoration ...and I'm envious of what you've done with her. She is a CLASSIC!!

Fast Shafts, thanks for the good words and dates that once again tells me how fast time goes by when your having fun. wow.
When I look back there was a vision that nobody understood, I stated wait and see. Friends thought I was crazy including my family, now all I hear is Wow!. Silence
In a few weeks look for me at Key West, then Toys for Tots run on December 10th. who hoo

Solo was my Searay 390 EC I cruised west side of the great loop alone, cruised to the Bahamas with great success to realize a need for speed, Hence B38
