Default She's still 'Gucci Golden'!

The Gucci brand is the World's 30th most recognizable brand and the fashion house is doing better than ever. This specific boat is one of the most iconic pleasure performance boats from the tail end of the '80s. I believe she's got a certain collectibility appeal if restored to Bristol original looks. Btw the beam is 8', and I'm curious about the motors. It says 650 hp out of 502's??? She supposedly originally had a set of 572's by the late Keith Hazell with 650 hp each.

Haha, it would be a fun drive to drive it to Thailand, but that's a bit far

That video is what we made last year. I was told the engines were 502's i did not know they were what you said. I did find a thread where someone in California blew up the starboard engine and had it replaced. But i am sure the port engine is still original

I did some more research and found out that her ex. owner, Dave Klaus, currently at Gunther Volkswagen, Coconut Creek, FL. 954-590-3750, switched the 572s out for the 502s when he lost the starboard motor, like you mentioned. He's the operations director according to Gunther VW's website. Dave was a member of The Florida Powerboat Club 20 years ago when he owned this boat. It's him in the Poker Run photos with the Swedish girl Maria riding along.

Wow! That is amazing information! Thank you so much for your research. Maybe I will reach out to him and see if he wants an old friend back!

You're right about my excessive time spent online. I don't watch TV thankfully, but quite a few boating videos on the internet though.

Before anyone would consider 33K What condition of transom & stringers? ..... fuel tank?.....I'm not interested enough to pay for a survey, but your starting price should include a full disclosure.
