I talked to Chip Miller & we have the date for Old School,, Saturday July 22 2017. Most likely it will be at Brownies @ Emerald City Harbor on Lake St Clair in St Clair Shores Michigan, but July 22 is the date rain or shine...

Ok thanks........that is the same date as Christmas at put in bay........decisions decisions.

Same weekend as the Sbi races in mentor

Well, that really sucks! Those were my two "must do" events this summer.

How about Saturday July 29th????

The last weekend of July has always been the St Clair river race.

This is not a attempt to Hi-Jack anything. And not to get deeper into this,,, But it seams there is more going on on the 22nd. The St Clair races are on Sunday, as I understand. Sorry Mark, just trying to combine venues and hoping to get more of the "old timers" involved in the "Untold Offshore" movie venue from the early days on Lake St Clair. Also would like to be part of the "OLD SCHOOL" and more. If possible would like to say "HI" to "RED" and many others, "From back in the day". !!!!! And also any others we may be able to drag away from their computers or old movies and scrapbooks. I am only trying to make this movie and all it's chapters a success. John Crouse and others have put together volumes of the 'Facts and Numbers" of the old the old day's, What I am trying to accomplish is to capture what me these "Adrenaline Filled Men" (and a couple of very successful gals) and their personalities and stories of their experiences and friendships developed in this very rugged sport.

Ironhead, "Bring him on". I only hope they will either change the date or maybe we can put something else together for the 29th. I need these "OLD" individuals for the movie. We are attempting to capture the personalities that made this sport so interesting. The reason for my request is we are filming SkaterFest August 4-5-6th and coming from Florida. Please let me know anything I can do to make this happen. I would like to interview and video tape all the "OLD TIMERS" we may be able to assemble. Mark, Not trying to Hi Jack, but attempting to get as many involved in the movie. Thank you for your support last year.

Many of us have things we do for the St Clair river race, I been involved there for 20 + years NOT CHANGING THINGS NOW !! I have boats committed to come to old school on July 22 that have been coming since the beginning 9 years ago, that to me is more important.. I look for a date that works for US in & around around Lake St Clair, & not working around a SBI race in Lake Erie. There are only so many Saturdays in the Summer so pic what event works best for you ..

There is graphics to the left of Lasalle I can't make out is all I need

Dave I believe it say's HOME PORT Miller Marine.

That's the exact picture I sent to the Graphics Company that I'm using could not make out the printing in front of the LaSalle and after the American flag.

Old School Reunion from 1pm on @ Brownies on Lake St Clair will be on Saturday July 22 2017. Many of the offshore boats that have come in the past have goon through major restorations & some are still in the condition they last race in, all boats are welcome.

Can't wait Mark, Should be there with the Sutphen this year.

Have not had mine in the water yet this year currently working on it rebuilding the carbs interior is going to have to wait another year as well as the graphics but hopefully it should be in the water next week taking Friday off this year to make sure I am not rushing Saturday to try to get things done

For next year ,can a West coast X racer show up ? Thinking about a trip home,Port Huron,and this sounds like fun.
