WTB a Formula 233 Interceptor that needs work ?
Looking for a Formula 233 Interceptor. Twin or single . In need of rebuilding. If the hull and deck are OK then the rest can be fixed.
Thanks, Randy

Interceptor...
Curious if You found an Interceptor Randy or if You're concentrating on the Schiada 30? I love the Formula 233's, but if for some reason You need to sell,
well then the Schiada 30 is of course the super rare model that will bring the money.
Cheers, Lars.

Wow, great pic. My father bought the very first Interceptor shown at the Sept Dealer show in Chicago that had the single 260, the straight rear bench, and the opaque cabin hatch, etc. Promptly blew the motor during the trial, so Vic sent a new one that had the newer curved sides to the bench and the smoked cabin hatch. Great boat, but only had it for a short while, until Vic sold him the first 302 SE. The funny thing was, we were expecting this big huge improvement in ride on Lake Michigan, but at the time, we really didn't get just how great the 233 design was. Certainly the added length helped span the waves a little better, but it wasn't as drastic of an improvement as we thought it was going to be. The 233 was a true classic.

I'm back on my old Schiada. Maybe sometime I will find a 233 to workup ?
