38 ? Top Banana Thailand ?

Phil, at the time, when the TB came up for sale, I had the Benihana and was intent on restoring that, but the Top Banana was picked up by a guy in Thailand who bought just the boat, not the trailer or tractor. He packaged the boat inside a 40 foot container and shipped it from Rhode Island to Thailand. He bought it with no engines or drives and he and has been working on it slowly, but to get inboard engines cost a big number due to taxes etc, so we will see what happens.

Are you all going to list owners, location (state maybe), condition, if its for sale, contact info, stuff like that? I own Raceboat.org and was thinking of using it to start like a Craig's list of some kind for race boats or something like that but didn't have enough boats to go with it.. You always see people looking for this boat or that one and over the years I have run across a ton also. If someone knew where to find them (like maybe in their own state) there is a better chance someone will restore them. It shocks me that people haven't snatched them all up. Just think if it was legal to buy Tony Stewart's stock car like it raced and drive it on the street. Hell I even got mine together and couldn't afford real race motors so I stuck two Gen V 454's in it for a couple years (I called them my show motors) and still won awards for it just because it was what it was. I did everything my self but mine went from sitting under a car port for 25 years stripped to on the water for less then 12 grand.
Sorry....I will stop now.

There is a large community on Facebook (Classic Offshore Boat Restoration) It is closed group and you have to apply to be admitted....

YES, we are going to list boats from both here and all over the world. It is up to the owner's if they want their name or want to be identified at all.

There will be a classified section that will cover points here and Europe and Asia that have a broker if an owner wants to deal through a broker.
