Why would anyone want/need a transom more than 2” thick on an inboard/outboard setup anyway? And how would that even work and what would be the purpose of that???

Default Transom

Btw...I only said 6 inches to get everyone in an up roar!! Worked..Haha. it was at most about 2 1/4" thick. Thanks for actually asking a question and not just jumping to conclusions.

Don had 20 plus boats pull from the Cigarette molds while he was still at Cigarette. Did not have Cigarette serial numbers since they were built on the sly. Serial numbers all started with ALSP; Stands for Aronow Limited Special Production. He put them in a shed and would take one out every once in a while and finish it to raise spending money. Hence the long time line between serial numbers. They app have the steering on the starboard side so Don could say they were not copies if Cigarette ever asked. When you can find one, the hull is usually in excellent condition. I have never seen one with a bad transom.

Fck I hate it when people put graphics all over something trying to portray , or pass it off , as something it's not.
