What a great boat! How does it compare to your fountain. I always like the fountain fever 27 foot. Where did you get the teak cup holders? Or did you make them yourself?

26 nova vs 38 fountain, comparing apples to oranges. Fountain definitely takes the rougher water better, but 12 feet will do that. The cup holders were there when I bought the boat

the sales brochures don't really say model year (unless I'm missing something which is possible) just a copyright date on the back

There is a good chance I have this yellow one in the ad...

Bytheway how many yellow ones was there built anyway? Haven't seen any other pics than this add and mine which I knew from new, test ran it 2004 and finally got it this summer as a project. Used to
have twin 260 mags and Alphas. Will have an oval ported big valved BBC either a 454 or 496 and B1.

Congrats and good luck. It could be a good project IF it doesn't have any rot. A fellow Mike did this 1988 Spyder more than 10 years ago, and he and his friends got

good use of the boat. 5 Years later he upgraded to a Wellcraft Scarab 302 Sport with twin Verados.

Just purchased a 1988 Wellcraft Nova Spyder 26
